Swing Dance Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend in the northeast when I attended an all weekend swing dance flurry. It was great fun and since I volunteered at the event I met some wonderful people. There were all ages from college students and up. Dances with live bands Friday and Saturday, and dance workshops Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday evening I was more than ready to call it quits. I learned the Charleston, shim sham and the Swing Out. Plus, all kind of new moves on the East Coast Swing. I had taken lessons for several months last year and this month began regular swing dance lessons again.

It's a great social event and I love watching to see what the dancers can do with swing!
