Living Life On My Terms :)

Heh there Jensetters or whoever :) ,dropout I've never been ,but I recently decided to kick back BIG TIME in my life.On the one hand 2009 has been lousy ...I lost my job on 12th Jan,I lost my brother on March 2nd ,and if truth be known ,well for a while I em kinda lost my mind too.Throughout my life I've taken many batterings ,but always reach a point where I ....just dig in and refuse to lose.Ah.. interesting word 'lose' ,I recently came to the conclusion,that for many years I saw things in terms of winners and losers...not anymore.I want Happiness !,I want Love ,I want to be Useful :).

Above please find picture of my New Office !,yeah folks I work there when the weather is good ,and when it rains ...it's into the conservatory with me.On the left you'll see a mini wireless PC ,ideal for going on the web ,see those little external speakers too :) ,I was listening to the music on our jenslove.com player that day.My companions are a big glass of OJ or mug of coffee .....and oh yeah would ya believe the little birds and bees (now now :)) ) ,and plants which I 'try' to grow.I make business calls in my shades as the sun beams down.....it's heaven .

I've also made BIG CHANGES that I would never have dreamt of .....I've put my Gas Guzzler Mercedes into storage.I walk my girls to school while they merrily scooter there ,I get home by 8-50am ,having achieved a half mile walk .I take being a house husband seriously,and keep the house ,washing,pressing garden in tip top.If I need transport I use public which is really good here ,or I arrange to borrow my wifes jeep.I could pick up the phone and get a sales job NO PROBLEM ....but heh I want MY LIFE on MY TERMS.Frances and the girlies can't believe just how good our life is Rat Race and Stress Free .A funny thing has happened -TIME SEEMS TO SLOW DOWN when you go at your own pace.I'm working but on my terms thats the goal ....so far so good .I'm LISTENING to people too ,I'm making time for the people in my LIFE.The trade off is worth it ,we're not starving ,I'm still getting to travel every so often .I am substituting QUALITY in place of drudgery / conformity...I am not interested in being a busy fool .In time perhaps I'll feel the need to 9-5 it again,I doubt it ,but yeah ,maybe...but only if I choose to.
I've played ball with the best of them in the business world and I can tell you ,
a)What's REAL and IMPORTANT is already in place if you just take time to stop and look around.

b) It's TRUE The best things in Life are FREE.

Gimme this existence any day to some ,corporate little daddy's boy tosser ....who's goal is to be the chairman of the Board.......STIFF .Oh and there was a time I had to switch off my cell-phone ,when I'd switch it on Beep Beep Beep ,10-15 Messages usually grief ,crap :) ,these days it's generally silent ....and ya know what that's F#CKI*G FINE by me :))))) GRAB LIFE ,LOVE YOURSELF first so that others may Love you ,hug your kids ,walk yer dog and when your time comes dance to the grave (or incinerator in my case).

Don't waste your Life ....LIVE IT !
